Glenda Shayne - Executive Director
Glenda joined Meals on Wheels in December 2017. With a master's degree in science and social work (MSSW) focusing on administration and community planning, she brings a diverse background to Meals on Wheels. Having served in various capacities in her career her focus has always been serving the needs of low-income families. She is passionate about serving those in need and truly feels this is her calling. She has experience working in low-income housing, homeless shelters, and a food bank in the Austin area serving 21 counties. During her time there she was able to show incredible growth in food outlets thus improving access to food for those in need. As a former executive director at an agency in Loveland she realized that leading an organization and taking it to the next level is a challenge that she hopes to bring to Meals on Wheels. Glenda lives in Loveland with her husband Ed, a Pudelpointer and a Bichon Frise.
