Glenda Shayne - Executive Director
Glenda joined Meals on Wheels in December 2017. With a master's degree in science and social work (MSSW) focusing on administration and community planning, she brings a diverse background to Meals on Wheels. Having served in various capacities in her career her focus has always been serving the needs of low-income families. She is passionate about serving those in need and truly feels this is her calling. She has experience working in low-income housing, homeless shelters, and a food bank in the Austin area serving 21 counties. During her time there she was able to show incredible growth in food outlets thus improving access to food for those in need. As a former executive director at an agency in Loveland she realized that leading an organization and taking it to the next level is a challenge that she hopes to bring to Meals on Wheels. Glenda lives in Loveland with her husband Ed and a chocolate lab, a Pudelpointer and a Bichon Frise.
Brenda Moore - Finance Manager
Brenda comes to us from California but has lived in Colorado for many years. She holds a bachelor's in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and has spent the past 20 years in nonprofits. She brings her enthusiasm and expertise to MOW. Brenda lives in Loveland with her husband Randy.
Kristy Trippel - Volunteer & Logistics Manager
Kristy is a Ft. Collins native who returned to Colorado after living on the west coast for over 10 years. She comes to us with quite a varied background that we are excited to tap into. She has worked in restaurants, retail, office management and many aspects involving customer service. Her more recent years have been spent in logistics and planning for wineries, and service & production businesses. Kristy loves to help out those in need and enjoys interacting with volunteers & the senior community. As time allows, she is continuing to study non-profit management she loves to pet sit, cook and be outdoors. She has long searched for a way to marry her talents with making a difference and has found her home at Meals on Wheels.
Matthew Petersen - Client Coordinator
Matt joined Meals on Wheels in December 2021. He holds a B.S. in Kinesiology, and it was while finishing that degree, Matt discovered his passion for promoting accessible health and wellness programs for varying populations in the community. He is excited to be a part of MOW where he can combine his passion for community wellness, years of customer service experience, and experience providing online marketing support to small businesses and non-profits. Matt lives in Fort Collins where he is also the drummer of a local rock band and can be found out at concerts, on his paddleboard, or happily lost up a mountain.
Erika Orion- Volunteer Coordinator
Erika has lived in Fort Collins for 24 years and graduated from CSU with a degree in horticulture. She has an eclectic work history and enjoys working with people just as much as with plants. She started with Meals on Wheels Fort Collins in November 2023 and is grateful to help make our community a better place. In her free time, she enjoys all things outdoors, such as hiking, paddle boarding, skiing and spending time with her friends, amazing daughter, dog and cat. She can also often be found with her nose in a novel and escaping for a while.
Nex Henning- Program Services Specialist
Nex joined Meals on Wheels in November 2023. They grew up in Wellington, Colorado and have been dedicated to volunteering their whole life. They have a lot of history working with volunteers through 4-H. In 4-H they were active up to the state level, where they focused on leadership and interpersonal skills. Nex has always wanted a job where they feel like they make a difference and is excited to work with Meals on Wheels! Nex lives with their girlfriend and several animals in Fort Collins.
