Gordan Thibedeau-President
Gordan is twice retired. First from the military, where he served for 29 years and then from the nonprofit sector, where he served for 25 years here in Fort Collins. He has been a MOW volunteer driver for 22 years with a passion for giving back to the community and our mission. He has experienced firsthand the tremendous value of MOW to those that are served. Both he and his wife and are avid skiers and mountain hikers and spend as much time as possible in the mountains.
Pam Johannsen - Secretary
Pam began volunteering with Meals on Wheels nearly two decades ago as a member of the National Charity League, Inc., Fort Collins Chapter and quickly saw that Meals on Wheels for Fort Collins does one thing,and does it very well. She has a deep commitment to food insecurity issues and has brought her nonprofit board experience to MOWFC where she currently serves as president. Retired from Colorado State University, she looks forward to her Tuesday meal delivery route and has remained an active NCL volunteer where she supports the start-up process for new nonprofit chapters across the country.
Meghan Wagner
Meghan brings a wealth of experience as a volunteer coordinator for St. Jude Walk/Run and was an events coordinator and served on the board for the U.S. Navy Officer Spouse's Club. She is committed to helping make Northern Colorado a better place to raise her children. She works as a commercial banker and underwriter for First Interstate Bank in Fort Collins.
Dillon Goodman - Treasurer
Dillon is a financial advisor with Vital Investment Management in Loveland and holds a CPA license. He received his degree in accounting from BYU where he also participated on the Track and Field team. He enjoys giving back to the community and loves the service and connection that MOWFC provides. He currently lives in Severance with his wife and daughter.
Brittany Brown
Brittany joined the board in November 2018 and is currently on the events committee and is the board secretary. Brittany is married and the mother of one son and a daughter. She is also the Business Relations Manager at First National Bank in Fort Collins.
John Carroll
John has been involved with MOWFC for years and goes back for 3 generations. Both of his parents delivered meals for 25 years and he began delivering himself with the Rotary Club for many years. John established a fund in his mother's name called the Karen Carroll Fund which helps pay for meals for those unable to afford them. John has a vast experience of board membership and board leadership and brings his years of experience as the principal of Ed Carroll Motor Co. in Fort Collins. John has also sponsored the Ed Carroll Wheels for Meals Car Show for 35 years and counting.
Heather Kirby, RD, RDN
Heather's experience working in the hospital and healthcare industry and her passion for helping clients and patients understand the role of nutrition in their overall health make her an ideal board member supporting the mission of MOWFC. Heather is the owner of The Other Option. She is a registered dietitian dedicated to promoting intuitive eating and fostering a healthy relationship with food. Heather's approach revolves around tuning in to our bodies' unique needs and embracing a balanced, mindful way of eating.
Colby Sterling
Colby strongly believes in the mission of MOWFC and has working as a volunteer both as a delivery driver and a member of the core group of volunteers since 2019. He brings that passion to help provide adequate nutrition to people in need. Colby lives in Fort Collins and works as a real estate agent in our community.
Nick Christensen
Nick's career has been both in commercial real estate and public safety with ongoing involvement with nonprofits. He is the past chair of the board of the United Way of Larimer County and is currently on SummitStone Health's board. He is a Colorado State Business School graduate and earned a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in his home state of St. Paul Minnesota however he grew up on Colorado's west slope. His wife Abi is with First Interstate Bank, also a Meals on Wheels Fort Collins supporter. Between them, they have 3 college-age kids.
Dan Flanagan
Dan is the Regional Director of Hospitality Services - North Region and works closely with the Poudre Valley Hospital and is the liaison between PVH Nutrition Services and Meals on Wheels for Fort Collins. Dan oversees the nutrition and dietetic departments' activities and staff. Dan strongly believes in the collaborative efforts of these 2 agencies and understands the importance and impact of this service to our older adult community.
